The Dittons Scout Group

Project Details

Back in 1932, the members of The Dittons Scout Group built their headquarters from the ground up on land gifted to them. Affectionately known as The Shack, this remarkable building has now stood for 93 years, continuing to serve generations of Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts from the local community.

We were honoured to be approached by the group to design and install a new commercial kitchen in this historic space.

The result is a larger, more functional kitchen that not only supports the day-to-day needs of the Scout Group and their busy calendar of events, but also creates opportunities to generate additional income through wider community use and venue hire.

While the new kitchen may not match the longevity of the building itself, it will certainly serve many more Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and members of the local community for years to come!
